Puttin' on the Big Girl Shoes

Yep, these are them. After the Emo Shoe Day Disaster of Aught-Eight, I needed some footwear that would pull me out of my work-funk, and decided that these would do the trick (it was either these or my fakey Uggs that I bought at some outlet place years ago, and are decidedly decrepit). What's not to love? A little peep-toe, heels I can still run around in, and the navy! Love! The shoes brought about a slight respite from the multiple-hour freakout that was yesterday, but I'd like to think that it was also my stellar job performance. Who can say, though?
